Who We Are

KJMC 89.3 has been in business for more than 15 years. We noticed a need in the community for a minority station that caters to the people, so we used our resources to start our own radio station.

We truly love educating, motivating, and inspiring our listeners. Additionally, we are always looking for DJ and board operation volunteers.

Our Mission

KJMC is the communication bridge that closes the gap that exists between various ethnic and cultural groups and those entities that seek to access, serve, address, and support the African American community. We strive to enlighten, inform, educate, and entertain our listening audiences.

We Make a Difference

KJMC promotes a vast range of diverse viewpoints and alternative entertainment. Broadcasting has been and continues to be an effective means of disseminating information and entertainment to varied audiences. We also provide premium community-based radio programs that foster the diverse opinions and multi-cultural expressions that enrich our community. 

Our Target Audience

KJMC targets residents and businesses with emphasis on minority populations, especially African Americans. We have grown to target all ethnic groups.
